Indicator Icons
Indicator Icons allow graphical users to quickly identify important sections and frequently used functionality. Simple ALT text is needed.

Acceptable ALT text is

Note that ALT text alone is not a sufficient replacement for the visual data. The image was used to increase the usability of the
web resource for graphical users; parallel techniques exist for text and non-visual users.
Use heading (H1-H6) tags to identify heading or section icons, identify navigation lists with a title, and provide appropriate accesskeys to
switch focus to major sections of the web resource.
