Overview

This course will introduce and review the current state of web accessibility by people with disabilities. This session includes information on adjusting the graphical rendering and using the accessibility features of popular browsers like Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Operasoft Opera, Real Networks Real Player, Microsoft Media Player and Apple Quicktime Player. Specialized technologies for people with disabilities will also be demonstrated, including voice recognition, screen magnification, specialized speech output technologies, and screen reader technology compatibility with web based technologies. The session will review technologies based on the W3C User Agent Accessibility Guidelines.
